The Belgian quintet Marche Funèbre will be releasing their fourth full-length album “Einderlicht” (which translates as the light at/of the end) this fall. The new album brings all the elements known from Marche Funèbre: death, black, and doom metal in a unique mix, with strong melodies and a wide vocal approach.
Thematically, “Einderlicht” focuses on the strange ability of mankind to deliberately decide to end one’s life.
Never change a winning team as they say, so the new album was recorded with Markus Stock once again, known for his productions with such bands as Empyrium, the Vision Bleak, Alcest, Secrets of the Moon, and countless more. As with all previous Marche Funèbre full-lengths, Brooke Shaden created another magical creation for the cover art.
“Einderlicht” will be released on CD through Hypnotic Dirge Records and Solitude Productions while vinyl will be released through The Vinyl Division with distribution through Hypnotic Dirge and Solitude Prod. Additionally, a bundle will be available through Hypnotic Dirge with a new shirt and other merch.
To celebrate the release, Marche Funèbre will be performing dual release shows on September 25 and 26.
More details on the particulars of the available merchandise and shows will follow!
