UPCOMING RELEASE: Claret Ash - Worldtorn: Anemoia

Five years have passed since the release of Australian progressive metal band Claret Ash's double album The Great Adjudication. Claret Ash ended 2022 with the release of the Gateways single, the first track unveiled from the new WORLDTORN series of releases to come. 

The WORLDTORN series is a continuation of the themes and imagery that have carried throughout previous Claret Ash albums, painting a vivid canvas of the collapse of society and the near-eradication of humanity. WORLDTORN is set to evolve as a journey with each subsequent release in the series.



Claret Ash is now set to release a new EP - the second installment in the WORLDTORN series - entitled Anemoia. Featuring both new material and re-recorded versions from their back-catalog, Anemoia delivers atmospheric and menacing black metal with equal parts unforgiving black metal savagery, melodic triumphant hooks, soaring solos, and earthly acoustic sections.

Next week we will reveal the album cover, designed by Sam Nelson of StigmaArt, as well as share more details about the tracklist. You can also expect a song to be unveiled soon, and of course your option to pre-order the album!

Anemoia will be released on Friday August 11, 2023.
