Short and to the point this time. We have some new titles available in the webshop this month though it's a quite small amount because currently our focus is on preparing our upcoming releases. Nonetheless, there's some nice music here and especially recommended is the latest release from Sorcier des Glaces (though it's already been out since the start of 2014)

Webshop Update -  November 2014

A rather small update this time around, but a few things worthy of your time. 
We brought in the debut Nethermost full-length 'Noetic' released in September 2014 on Horror Pain Gore Death Productions, as well as a handful of CD's from Nova Scotia based Death / Black Metal label Blast Head Records.

Hypnotic Dirge General Update

October 1, 2014
After a calm past few months, work is now being undertaken regarding plans for 2015 album releases! Asides from providing for a little more down time than usual, the last few months have also been used to reorganize the website as well as to refine our intentions and objectives for the months to come.

Finally, a thorough and detailed Manifesto has been completed giving an overview of our operations as well as information on a variety of subjects.

Webshop Update - October 2014

There a lot of fine new additions to the webshop this October including new albums from The Morningside, Helevorn, Doom:VS, and When Bitter Spring Sleeps among others, as well as the debut album from Saskatchewan's newest death-doom band Altars of Grief!

From now on, all webshop updates will occur monthly at the beginning of each month to create a more consistent and reliable pattern. New Solitude Productions releases will also be included in the monthly webshop up...

Hypnotic Dirge Records will be at Metal Wizard Open Air 2014

Hypnotic Dirge Records will once again be present for the second annual Metal Wizard Open Air Festival on Saturday July 12, 2014. We will have a merch stand set up with a fine selection of CD's and shirts from our own releases and from the distro including a box of 50 dedicated to Black Metal, a box of 50 dedicated to Doom Metal, and 50 of our specific recommendations! 

This year, all CD's will be $5.00 and all shirts will be $10.00, a very special low price for Metal Wizard only!

Solitude Productions Update [05/12/2014]

Just added now are five of the latest albums from Solitude Productions! All from the main label this time, not the side-labels. All good albums of course, but especially recommended is the debut album from the young Russian band "Restless Oblivion" which really impressed me!

Distro Update: 46 New Titles!

Lo and behold, there is finally a new batch of CD's added to the webshop after a pretty sizable time has passed since the last update. A wide variety of albums from across the sonic spectrum to be sure, but this update seems to include a lot of doom, from atmospheric death-doom, to sludgy stoner metal, ambient drone-doom, black/doom metal and everything else as well!
