PRE-ORDERS: Nordicwinter - Sorrow
February 26, 2021Today we launch pre-orders for Nordicwinter's new album "Sorrow", due for release on Friday March 26.
After a lengthy hiatus, Nordicwinter came back in a big way in 2020, releasing two new full-length albums "Requiem" and "Desolation" and they show no sign of slowing down as they hit us once again with a new full-length album, "Sorrow", released amidst the dead of winter. This prolificacy should in no way be a harbinger of doubt as the quality of "Sorrow" surpasses even the heights of the 2020 records and raises Nordicwinter to the upper tier of Canadian Depressive / Atmospheric Black Metal.
A few weeks ago, we released the lyric video for "Somber Winds of Despair (Part I)" and on this pre-order date, we are eager to unveil a new lyric video - crafted by evillair himself this time - for the companion track, aptly entitled "Somber Winds of Despair (Part II)".
In terms of new merch for this release, we are excited to announce that we have printed both hoodies and shirts for this release, in addition to Nordicwinter patches, die-cut stickers, signed postcards, and guitar picks. You can order either a hoodie bundle or a shirt bundle, the apparel on their own, the CD on its own, or HDR's 2021 re-release of "Desolation" alongside the new album "Sorrow" at a discounted price. This goes without saying, but the digital album is also available, at a token $5 price during pre-orders and Name-your-price with no minimum upon release date.
As for the CD itself, "Sorrow" is presented in a 4 panel digipack with an 8 page booklet made with uncoated paper as that style seemed to fit the artwork in the booklet better than the standard paper.
As we have been doing lately, the first 100 sales of "Sorrow" will receive a bonus Nordicwinter Patch with their order!
