ALBUM COVER: Notturno - Obsessions

A few days ago we announced our collaboration with NOTTURNO, the latest addition to our roster, and today, we are pleased to reveal the exquisite album cover for their upcoming album "Obsessions", shot and conceptualized by photographer Riccardo Ziosi and featuring the model Michela Suffritti.

"Obsessions" is the debut album of the newest project of multi-instrumentalist Vittorio Sabelli (Dawn of a Dark Age, Suici.De.Pression) called NOTTURNO. A melancholic trip into the obsessive compulsions that take shape within our lives, the psychological torment, and the scourge of madness that takes hold inside the ancient walls of the human psyche, peering around the dark corners within all of us.

NOTTURNO develops its atmosphere through lengthy songs with strong dynamics and pacing, keeping the listener lost in a reverie and crafting an immersive experience at once melancholic and infectious, floating between Atmospheric and Depressive Black Metal, Doom, and Chamber music - intimate and possessing a strong character highlighted by the unique and singular expressiveness of female vocalist Kjiel (Eyelessight) and organically driven drum work of Sven.

"Obsessions" will be released in a 4 panel digipack with a 12 page booklet through Hypnotic Dirge Records on Friday April 29. We will also continue the tradition of including a free logo patch with the first 100 orders, stylishly embroidered with golden thread and 5 " x 3" in size. (12.7cm x 7.6cm)

These literal and figurative dark times seem like the appropriate moment to draw some attention to NONE, to inform you that we are now taking pre-orders for the 2022 editions of NONE vinyl!

Unlike the original vinyl pressings, this repress will only include classic black vinyl, as we wanted the previous variants to retain its value and uniqueness in appreciation of those who pre-ordered the original pressing. It is finally that time.

Many of you have asked when we would repress the NONE albums on vinyl.

These days, vinyl production can have an 6 month turnaround time, but we were fortunate to have these produced and shipped to us much sooner than expected!

Therefore, we are making all three NONE albums available to pre-order beginning on Saturday January 8, 2022 at 10AM PST. Orders will begin to ship out in late January.
